    Description
    The ideal candidate possesses a strong level of expertise related to the engineering and fabrication of industrial equipment.

    The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for a thorough understanding of the complex activities required to manufacture and fabricate equipment, providing recommendations and direction to improve workflow and quality.

    Responsibilities
    Evaluates and develops methods to improve performance, reduce waste and improve safety.
    Performs analysis and reviews data to plan workforce utilization, space requirements & workflow, and designs layout of equipment.
    Designs fixtures and tooling to ensure efficient production.
    Acts as Project Manager for Capital Projects.
    Works with vendors to confirm product specifications.
    Arranges purchase of materials and equipment.
    Generation of Capital justifications, outlining ROI and Rate of Return.
    Estimates production time, staffing requirements and other costs to assist management with decisions.
    Coordinate with EHS manager as needed to evaluate environmental issues and determines solutions related to hazardous waste disposal.
    Estimate future manufacturing requirements.
    Develops, tracks and implements annual capital budget requirements.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
    5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
    Understanding of ASME, HTRI, API 661
    Experience with in-house machining and welding of parts/materials
