GLG is seeking an associate attorney with 2-3 years of litigation experience who is self-motivated and eager to grow with the firm. This is a hybrid opportunity that will require some in-person attendance at the downtown office on an as-needed and flexible basis. Candidates looking for full-time or part-time positions are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal research memos;
• Draft discovery requests and responses;
• Draft and argue motions to compel discovery;
• Review and management of electronic document production;
• Draft pleadings, motions, and responses;
• Communications with clients and opposing counsel;
• Prepare for depositions; and
• Court appearances.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas
• 2-3 years of litigation experience (business litigation experience not required)
• Confidence and eagerness to learn
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to get along well with others and stay calm under pressure
