In addition to customary services, Gentle Care offers a blend of traditional and integrative veterinary medicine to meet the need of every patient and owner.
Gentle Care also offers both medical and general pet boarding exclusively to their current clients and is one of only a few animal care facilities to provide its own 24-hour emergency care, handled by staff veterinarians.
Ermeling's vision was not limited to excellence in the care of pets:the Gentle Care owner education program was designed to support every pet owner through all the stages of their pets' lives.
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

Interpret medical records and record client history accuratelyKnowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
Proficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin
Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs, positioning for dental radiographs are a plus
Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency
Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.
