As part of Trelleborg's global IT group, the IT Operations Specialist's role is to work with all facets of Trelleborg's business to bring innovative solutions to leverage a wide array of technologies.
The work completed by this person will directly impact Trelleborg's ability to meet customer needs as well as the ever-changing needs of our employees.
Job Duties:
Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operations difficulties.
Interface with departments, technical vendors, and personnel to solve problems
Create and maintain accurate documentation
Implement preventative maintenance routines and schedule accordingly
Participate in project planning, implementation, and documentation
Receive user requests for assistance via helpdesk ticketing system and prioritize and resolve issues
Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems as pertaining to job functions
Consistently follow and enforce IT policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline or equivalent combination of work experience, training, and education
3 years of experience in Microsoft based technology, WAN/LAN, and systems support
2 years of experience in a customer facing support role
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to speak conversational English in a professional setting
Competencies:
Experience and good knowledge of Active Directory, Outlook, Dell Kace/Cylance, and Microsoft server administration
Knowledge of available computing and/or network hardware and peripheral equipment
Ability to assist in maintenance and support of all aspects of IT Infrastructure and network resources as required.
Skill in organizing workload and establishing priorities.
Ability to identify and solve network malfunctions and operational problems.
Broad understanding of IT Internal Controls Audit, FDA, and ITAR regulated guidelines and processes
