    Room Attendant Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated Room Attendant to be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel rooms, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to our brand standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform basic housekeeping duties including changing linens, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning rooms after guests check out.
    • Ensure all rooms meet our brand and Island Hospitality standards.
    • Notify supervisors of any damages, issues, or disturbances.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
    • Effective problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as necessary.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods. Employees may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.
