We continue to revolutionize how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide. To do that, we need the absolute best talent. We're big enough to give you all the resources you need, and small enough so you can make a real difference and earn recognition for your work. We offer a collegial culture, challenging projects, and excellent compensation and benefits, not to mention a Flex Work approach that is truly flexible to support where, when, and how you do your best work.

With a legacy of pioneering breakthroughs, Dolby continues to redefine audio technology through cutting-edge advancements such as Dolby Atmos FlexConnect—a revolutionary solution to simply add immersive audio to your entertainment experiences. As demand for Dolby Atmos-enabled music and home entertainment grows, we are expanding our technology portfolio to meet the evolving needs of consumers seeking premium, adaptable sound in their homes.

Role Summary

Dolby is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead a team focused on driving product innovation around all types of wireless speakers that are used in and out of the home. You will anchor a team dedicated to inventing and shaping the future of home audio through strategic vision and product excellence. You will drive the long-term roadmap for the FlexConnect platform across product categories (home devices, mobile, xR, PC and automotive) informed by a deep understanding of respective customer needs and product opportunities across entertainment use cases. You will spearhead innovations in wireless speaker solutions to ensure Dolby's continued leadership in delivering transformative entertainment experiences and drive go-to-market to successfully scale the Dolby Atmos FlexConnect platform. This role is pivotal in defining the next chapter of Dolby's audio strategy, working closely with cross-functional partners to expand market reach, accelerate growth, and deliver spectacular sound to billions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the long-term vision and strategy for the Dolby Atmos FlexConnect portfolio, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the development and execution of product roadmaps for wireless speaker innovation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of FlexConnect-enabled products, from concept to launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, business development, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, leveraging consumer insights and competitive analysis to guide product decisions.
  • Establish key performance indicators and success metrics, monitoring progress and adapting strategies to optimize business impact.
  • Champion customer-centric innovation, ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations for quality, ease of use, and immersive experience.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment and communication, presenting vision, milestones, and progress to executive leadership and external partners.
  • Shape the future of Dolby's speaker portfolio by anticipating industry shifts, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer needs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience in consumer electronics, audio technology, or related industries, with a track record of delivering successful products.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to define vision, translate insights into actionable plans, and execute against ambitious goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in market analysis, user research, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects, developing reference platforms, managing complex product portfolios, and collaborating with external partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrated success in launching innovative products and navigating the challenges of new market adoption.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, including executive-level writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performing product teams within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Deep understanding of audio technologies, wireless connectivity, and entertainment ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Attributes for Success

  • Visionary Leadership: Inspire teams with a clear, compelling vision and translate strategy into impactful action.
  • Strategic Mindset: Anticipate industry trends, identify opportunities, and navigate ambiguity with confidence.
  • Operational Excellence: Deliver results through disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Customer Focus: Advocate for the end user, ensuring products deliver meaningful, differentiated experiences.
  • Collaboration: Build trust and alignment across functions, fostering open communication and shared purpose.
  • Innovative Thinking: Challenge conventions, explore new possibilities, and drive breakthrough solutions.
  • Empathy and Influence: Listen actively, engage diverse perspectives, and motivate teams toward common goals.
  • Resilience: Adapt quickly to changing circumstances, overcoming setbacks with determination and optimism.
  • Integrity: Model ethical decision-making, transparency, and respect in all interactions.
