    Position
    Invenergy Services, LLC is actively seeking an


    EHS
    Director – Renewables

    .

    The successful candidate will have experience in strategic planning to advance the
    EHSprocesses.

    They should have a background in managing a diverse team of
    EHSpersonnel who work remotely and are tasked with overseeing the scope of
    EHSmanagement systems implementation.

    The position can report out of a field office or work

    remotely.
    Description
    The position will report to the Vice President, EHS.

    In addition to managing the
    EHSfield personnel in the designated region, the successful candidate will oversee the implementation of all the components of the Invenergy
    EHSprograms across the sites within their region.

    This will include both wind and solar generation and battery storage facilities.

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    Supervise the work of other
    EHSemployees
    Set clear goals and expectations within reasonable timeframes
    Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Site Management and other company employees to ensure safe work practices,
    EHScompliance, and adherence to company
    EHSprograms and policies
    Motivate staff through constructive feedback, challenging assignments, and recognition of achievements
    Provide mentorship and guidance by sharing expertise and best practices
    Support staff by providing essential resources, professional development opportunities, and communication
    Formulate plans and strategies to proactively resolve anticipated problems
    Prudently respond to unforeseen problems through careful consideration and analysis of problems and relevant information and circumstances
    Recognize and apprise appropriate personnel when resolution requires senior leadership input and/or approval
    Providing direction and guidance to
    EHSpersonnel in addressing proactive and reactive
    EHSprograms
    Engage with
    EHSpersonnel to devise key strategies to address gaps in audits, procedure implementation, and training, as necessary
    Conduct data analysis within the region, and establish recommendations to assist in addressing opportunities found within the analysis
    Schedule
    EHSpersonnel to effectively conduct annual audits and other site-specific tasks
    Coordinate any industrial hygiene monitoring needed within the region
    Provide technical leadership and functional guidance to ensure processes are being implemented effectively
    Assist in developing action plans to close out recommendations from
    EHSaudits, incident investigations, etc.
    Complete quarterly written
    EHSreports for the region
    Ensure incident investigations are performed in the region when required.

    Remain informed on all existing and proposed changes in occupational health and safety and environmental regulations affecting the industry at the state and federal level.

    Minimum Requirements
    7+ years of
    EHSexperience
    BA/BS Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field and/or 7+years of EHS-related experience
    Willing to spend 50% of the time in the field.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
    Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
    Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance. Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
    Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)
    Weight must not exceed 129 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job-related tasks.

    Physically able, with or without accommodations, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain and variable conditions including heat, cold, noise, and work in the presence of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment; position requires frequent standing/walking, vehicle operation, stair climbing and keyboard/mouse operations; often performing repetitive bending & stooping; occasionally using portable ladders, and lifting up to 25 pounds; rarely working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (and tools, levers, etc.), working at heights to include climbing wind towers, performing repetitive or fine hand movements.

    Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, as required.
