Mold and Die Maker

A rubber manufacturer in Laconia, NH is looking for a skilled Mold and Die Maker to join their friendly team This full-time, first-shift role will perform tooling fabrication activities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and/or profitability of new and existing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities of the Mold and Die Maker

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mill to produce molds, dies, and frames to engineering specifications
Fabricate, debug, and repair stamping dies, machines, jigs, and fixtures
Manufacture molds, frames, and dies as directed
Implement manufacturing design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
Debug new product processes prior to release to production
Perform other related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Mold and Die Maker

Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent; rubber processing and die experience will be considered in lieu of college diploma
Proficiency and demonstrable skill in all types of high precision machining used for the fabrication and repair of stamping dies, molds, and other tools and equipment, including CNC machine tools
Ability to interpret drawings and use measuring equipment
Willingness to learn new machinery
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong math skills
Experience with machine programming, AutoCAD, and/or purchase requisition a plus
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

The Mold and Die Maker works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm for $22-$25/hour, depending on experience. We look forward to hearing from you
