    Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Mammography Tech

    Shift: Days/ 7:30a-4p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, M-F

    Length: 13 weeks

    Requirements:

    • UT license
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Mammography with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D
    • Outpatient work setting experience
    • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school
    • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • BLS
    • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
    • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
    • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
    • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred
    • Prior quality control experience preferred

    Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30a - 4:00pm (4-5 shifts a week)
    The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Progressive Radiology; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
    Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:Digital - Required3D - RequiredMinimum 2 years of experience in Mammography REQUIRED with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D.Outpatient work setting experience required.

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:BLSCompletion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;
    Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location;All technologists working in the Utah offices must be licensed by the state.New Applicants: ETA 2 weeks.
