- Assist with WBS and cost budgets of completed estimates.
- Track the progress of projects as they are executed.
- Collaborate with field personnel to forecast cost of projects upon completion.
- Work with Procurement to understand open commitments and their effect on the total project forecast.
- Assist with project closeout documentation.
- Close any open commitments from Procurement at the end of the project.
- Assess margin erosion from items such as damaged equipment, tool loss, liquidated damages, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to build good working relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Experience with the AST (Aboveground Storage Tank) industry needed.

UPS Industrial is in search of an Assistant Project Manager who will work with our Tank Division and will be responsible for advising the team on a variety of data including costs, potential issues, forecasts, budgets, estimates, schedule updates, and assisting with project close outs. This position will be located at our headquarters in Deer Park. Recent Construction Management graduates are encouraged to apply.
