    Special Education Teacher

    Job Description

    • Full 24/25 school year
    • End of August May 2025
    • Resource classrooms:
      • Push-In (coteaching)
      • Pull-Out (resource room)
    • K-8th
    • Typically Special Educators at this districtwork within a specific grade band (K-4, 5-8), but this is subject to change based on the caseload from year-to-year.
    • We are looking for educators who are open to working with scholars in all grades K-8 and are able to do case management.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
    • Illinois SPED License
    • Active Illinois SPED Certification
    • PEL
    • Reliable transportation
    • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

    Interview Process

    • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
    • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
    • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

    As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
