Our operations workforce is the heart and soul of our business. We are currently looking for a few new National Business Development Managers to add to our team
    Summary
    The National Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging and selling new customer business. $8-$10M annually.

    In addition, management and development of existing accounts, relationship building, customer retention and growth, liaison internal/external between both corporate organizations.

    The National Business Development Manager will be managing an average of $20-30M annual book of business.
    Responsibilities and Expectations
    Develop and/or manage leads resulting in $8-$10M in new business sales annually over 'national coverage' in all industry segments
    Develop and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20M in new growth opportunity
    Develop and/or manage existing customer accounts resulting in $20-$30M in business sales annually over "national coverage" in all industry segments
    Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the corporate level
    Full customer management responsibilities from on-boarding
    Autonomous work ethic
    Represent 48forty at various tradeshows & industry events, developing network and establishing 48forty as solutions provider
    Represent 48forty in all facets of professionalism
    Utilizing solutions, match potential organizational capability to various needs as identified by customer base
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or other equivalent academic disciplines preferred
    Formal sales training preferred
    Minimum of at least three to five years of experience in a regional sales or national sales position
    Experience in the Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or Pallet/Container industries is preferred
    Experience with account management, sales management, client relations, business to business sales strongly preferred
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Supply-chain knowledge
    Superior computer skills and MS Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) are a mandatory requirement
