    Description


    As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide engineering support for maintenance and reliability team to address plant issues that are impacting production over a short period of time.

    You will provide technical expertise, which may be equipment, based or repair technique based that impacts the availability and maintainability of the facility.

    This role requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.

    Requirements

    Knowledgeable on specification, design and review of electrical project in industrial settings involving Medium Voltage Equipment.

    Experienced in Project Management, Coordination of contractors and inspection of the parts of the project under his responsibility.

    Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Specification and implementation of greenfield projects involving Medium Voltage and Low Voltage transformers, Switchgears and motors. Protection Relays selection and protection strategies definition.
    Electrical distribution strategy and Single Line Diagrams definition.

    Industries where they may developing such projects in addition to Steelmaking:
    • Heavy industries such as, Aluminum, Mining, Food, Oil and Gas, Marine Construction.
    • Top engineering and construction companies working for the previously mentioned industries (e.g. IKA, FLUOR, KIEWIT, HATCH USA, BECHTEL, etc.)

    Requirements

    Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering Degree

    5 Years Maintenance/Engineering experience in heavy manufacturing facility preferred

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Multi-lingual preferred, English (required)

    Should be Detail oriented with proven analytical and Proactive problem-solving approach

    Excellent planning and organizational skills.

    Solid knowledge & understanding of hydraulics, Pneumatics and rotating equipment
