    SALARY:
    $20.00 to $21.00+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

    RVU offers a full benefits package that includes Health, Dental and Vision insurance, along with 2 weeks (minimum) accrued paid vacation days per year, 12 accrued sick days per year, personal days, 13 1⁄2 paid holidays and 401(K) match up to 7% based on employee's contribution.

    Primary Purpose


    The Administrative Assistant to Operations will provide a wide range of clerical support to the Director of Campus Operations and the Operations team.

    This person will be an integral member of the Operations Team and will help the Director and the department stay organized and operate smoothly.

    This position is also the first face seen as guests enter the building and is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming experience that leaves employees, students, and visitors feeling cared for and valued.

    The success of this role requires in-person attendance and is not eligible for remote work.

    Essential Job Functions


    Welcome Desk Management:

    • Serves as a resource and information desk for visitors, employees, and students.
    • Answers main phone line and routes calls to the appropriate party.
    • Greets, welcomes, and checks-in special guests and visitors.
    • Maintains the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the main lobby and welcome desk.
    • Helps build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Provides clerical support and task management for the Director of Campus Operations and associated projects.
    • Supports meetings led by the Director of Campus Operations and is responsible for scheduling, creating agendas, meeting documents, writing minutes, and helping to manage project timelines.
    • Handles purchasing, errands, and budget tracking.
    • Provides support for special events led by the Director of Campus Operations.

    External Room Reservation Requests Duties:

    • Manages the internal process for receiving and reviewing requests from external parties to use the RVU-MT facilities for private functions.
    • Coordinates the details and manages the on-site checking in and checking out of external party use.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience working in an administrative support role.
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Professional certificates or college degree from an accredited institution (Associates or other advanced degree).
    • Experience with budget management and expense tracking.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Products and video conferencing platforms.
    • Professional background or experience working in education.
