    Major Hospital in Downtown Brooklyn has openings for Licensed Clinical Lab Histology Technologists or Clinical Lab Histology Technician. Must be able to pass background and drug screen. Excellent benefits package. MUST HAVE NYS CLINICAL Histology Or Clinical Laboratory LICENSE

    The Clinical Histology Technologist conducts moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in the hospital histology laboratory

    Duties:

    Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience.

    Skills:

    Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience.

    • CLINICAL LABORATORY

    Additional

    Education:

    Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED, Primary Source Verification required. BLS preferred.

    • Performs routine microbiological/immunological testing of specimens on technologist level in Histology, Microbiology Chemistry, and/or Blood Bank areas. Checks specimens for accuracy and appropriate containers. Correctly subcultures to specific media for optimal recovery of microbes. Possesses ability to identify presence of microbes by culture, antibody or other means. Possesses ability to perform antibiotic susceptibilities if applicable.
