- Evaluate patients' functional status and home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
- Develop treatment programs, establish goals for improved function, and communicate plans to the care team.
- May teach or retrain patients in daily activities, fabricate splints, and instruct in the use of adaptive equipment.
- Maintain clinical records, communicate changes in patient's condition, and coordinate care with other professionals.
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensed as an OT in Florida.
- Two years of clinical experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
