    Skills for Rhode Island's Future (SkillsRI) is a nonprofit workforce intermediary working to break down barriers to economic opportunity by connecting unemployed and underemployed Rhode Islanders to jobs with socially responsible, civic-minded employers through a proven demand-driven approach.

    SkillsRl's multi-faceted approach focuses on providing a continuum of career services to help those who face barriers to employment succeed in the workplace.

    Position Summary

    The Marketing Coordinator will be involved in various aspects of marketing, including branding, social media management strategies, website development/content management, graphic design, and marketing strategies.

    The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Small Business Hub Director.

    Responsibilities
    Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    Contribute to the development and maintenance of the RI Small Business HUB's clients' brand identity.
    Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
    Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
    Create compelling content for various social media platforms.
    Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track performance and optimize strategies.
    Collaborate with the web development team to update and maintain clients' websites.
    Create and optimize website content to improve user experience and search engine visibility.
    Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and digital advertisements.
    Ensure that all visual assets adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field preferred
    Bilingual (Spanish) required
    Demonstrated experience in marketing with an emphasis on branding, social media management, website development, and graphic design
    Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (ex: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
    Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques
    Compensation
    Salary is commensurate with experience.

    The Marketing Coordinator is a grant-funded position. Should there be a substantial reduction in funding or should funding cease, this position may be eliminated by SkillsRI.
