Job summary
This position is responsible for supervising laboratory technicians and performing clinical and/or analytical laboratory testing. Essential functions include performing laboratory tests of varying complexity, accurately recording data in the laboratory information system, reporting test results, providing consultation regarding test orders and assisting in interpretation of test results.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance calibration functional checks of electronic mechanical equipment to ensure accurate reliable test results- Evaluate document performance of laboratory personnel through direct observation specimen/sample handling test procedures-Assess training needs participate ongoing in-service training education related to safety testing procedures best practicesBenefits
