The Coordinator, Warehouse will perform activities that support inbound, outbound and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items.Activities include data entry preparation and distribution of reports record maintenance Ready to build a career with a company thats leading the food service industry?
- The work will take place at a desk in a US Foods office-based environment but may occasionally require work in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
- Duties may include but are not limited to general warehouse inbound or outbound functions Duties may vary depending on shift Ensure optimal warehouse operations by preparing processing routine forms reports documents following standard procedures Communicate with internal external customers support staff customer needs Respond inquiries telephone calls Respond requests researching information Collect track input data relevant operations metrics tracking performance including shorts mispicks dump damage service level associate overtime Other duties assigned manager Schedule receiving appointments vendors all inbound freight according to capacities supporting proper functioning Complete processes performing driver check-in checkout Ensure readiness assigning receiving doors carriers Prepare purchase orders confirming purchase orders Support night functions checking returns credit slips assembling returned orders picking slot Investigating errors find missing products Interact personnel solving selecting shipping issues Complete paperwork reports documents received trucks Update master storage report SUPERVISION N/A RELATIONSHIPS Internal Operations purchasing External Carriers vendors WORK ENVIRONMENT The work place desk US Foods office-based environment occasional required normal working conditions Minimum Qualifications Related Experience/Requirements Two years experience warehousing delivery necessary Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Effective communication verbal writing Excellent telephone customer ability Strong math analytical organizational details Basic computer Microsoft Word Excel Access Outlook Problem critical thinking abilities solve problems scope Strong teamwork ability support others department division Education High school diploma or GED/equivalent required Preferred Qualifications Certifications/Training Preferred experience SAE Truck Builder Red Prairie Kronos Incentive Component Pay Road Net XATA Shopfax Tandem PowerDock equipment inventories warranties Physical Qualifications Perform physical activities described length time Occasionally Frequently Continuously JOB REQUIRES FREQUENCY Occasional Walk Drive Vehicle N/A Sit Continuously Lift SIT CONTINUOUSLY LIFT OCCASIONALLY CARRY OCCASIONALLY PUSH/PULL*1 CLIMB/BALANCE*2 STOOP/SQUAT KNEEL BEND REACH ABOVE SHOULDER TWIST GRASP OBJECTS FREQUENTLY MANIPULATE OBJECTS OCCASIONALLY MANUAL DEXTERITY*
