    Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Structured Query Language (SQL) Developer
    Department: Veterans Affairs
    Location: On-site, Washington, DC
    Type: Full Time
    Min. Experience: Experienced
    Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (MBI)
    Salary Range: $99,000

    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is an on-site, customer facing position in downtown Washington DC supporting a federal government client. Remote work is not available.
    • Write queries for ad hoc reports.
    • Manipulate data, implement database-driven solutions, and build applications.
    • Design relational databases and write code that interacts with stored data to complete functional requirements for a business.
    • Work alongside analysts, database administrators, and other team members to help create and maintain databases.
    Required Skills and Experience
    • An ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
    Professional Certificationsn/aYears of Professional Experiencen/aDesired experiencen/aFormal EducationBachelor's degree in technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experienceCitizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunitySecurity Clearance RequirementsMust possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)CRITICAL NOTES:
