About the Job:

We are currently looking for a Veterinarian enthusiastic about general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The role offers guidance to recent graduates in a supportive setting with a skilled and positive team. Our practice primarily focuses on small animals, especially dogs and cats. We also handle special species cases as required and perform surgeries on small mammals.

Additionally, our facility includes a large boarding and daycare center where we cater to the needs of the animals under our care throughout their stay.

One of our key areas is handling a significant number of surgical procedures, particularly dental operations. We collaborate with the Chester County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit, providing a training field for activities such as search and rescue, explosive detection, agility, and recall training.

Our clinic, located on 10 acres in West Chester, Pennsylvania, serves a well-educated client base that prioritizes offering top-notch care for their pets.

The workplace features modern amenities, including a fully fenced property, an extensive outdoor daycare program, and recently renovated facilities. We utilize cloud-based record-keeping software that allows staff to complete medical records remotely within 24 hours of an examination.

Our practice boasts new and efficient computers, three spacious and well-equipped examination rooms, a state-of-the-art in-house lab, and advanced medical equipment for various procedures.

We have a dedicated surgical area with cutting-edge equipment for soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, including a dental suite equipped with modern tools and technology for dental procedures. Clinical areas are equipped with quality lighting and essential tools for efficient operations.

Associate Veterinarian Responsibilities:

Progressively manage surgical and dental tasks as part of mentorship
Follow and uphold preventive care protocols
Communicate with clients on cases, diagnostics, and monitoring of boarding and daycare cases
Handle complex medical cases with effective communication with colleagues
Cultivate a positive clinical environment for staff, clients, patients, and fellow veterinarians
Provide client education on medical decisions and treatments

Maintain high professional standards in evidence-based veterinary practice.

Additional Salary Information:

21% Pro-Sal compensation paid monthly
