Job summary
This position involves cultivating individual major gifts corporate donations for The Salvation Army to support its programs and services seeks to increase donations from existing donors as well as identifies and cultivates new donors to support the programs of The Salvation Army provides oversight coordination of individual major gifts corporate donors works directly with the Donor Development Manager Development team to develop a comprehensive development plan that includes cultivation of major gift resources multi year commitment funds and other strategic support supports the Long Range Plan by assisting in positioning The Salvation Army undertake a significant capital endowment campaign as necessary.Key Responsibilities:Achieves revenue goals personally managing portfolio of individual major gift corporate donors researches develops maintains profiles on key prospects top supporters solicits donations cultivates relationships in order secure ongoing support for The Salvation Armys operating capital needs plans develops coordinates evaluates aggressive Donor Development program reach monetary cultivation stewardship mission goals periodically meets with Donor Development Manager evaluate variety resource development strategies implement best practices achieve short term long term goals development department ensures all requests donors potential donors information clarification responded accurate timely professional manner evaluates day efforts ensure goals established Fund Development Department met surpassed creates presents proposals funding opportunities helps implement strategic plans creating building increasing corporate through Salavation Armys Corporate Marketing Partnership Program.
