    Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

    Description:

    Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide expert healthcare services to patients under the direction of a board-certified/eligible physician. The successful candidate will diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, conduct clinical research, offer advice on preventative healthcare, order and interpret diagnostic tests and exams.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a Supervising Physician.
    • Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and compiling patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
    • Develop effective, safe, and patient-centered treatment plans under the direction of the Supervising Physician.
    • Provide timely and complete clinical documentation in the EHR following patient visits or telephone calls.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with the supervising physician regarding assigned patients and provide timely notification of changes in patient status.
    • Attend case conferences, clinical rounds, and other types of meetings which address patient management and care coordination.
    • Partner with the patient to develop contracts of care as needed and provide encouragement and motivational support to promote adherence to treatment plans.

    Requirements:

    • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing.
    • MSN Degree Required
    • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate or eligible to obtain.
    • Furnishing number issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
    • National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioner
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

    Experience:

    A minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience is required, with strong charge nurse experience preferred.

    Base Pay: $63.18 - $101.09 per hour
