- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures along with stringent controls to minimize risks and improve the accuracy of the company's financial records.
- Develop and execute best practices and tools to ensure a well-regulated yet adaptable structure that emphasizes robust fiscal management, project synchronization, inter-team communication, and operational workflows.
- Supervise the compilation of all financial documents, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, shareholder summaries, tax filings, and official reports to regulatory bodies.
- Supervise the Finance department's functions, including crafting an organizational framework that aligns with the department's aspirations and objectives.
- Oversee the accounting activities of subsidiary entities, especially focusing on their control mechanisms, transaction processes, policies, and protocols.
- Monitor cash flow, financial strategizing, conduct an analysis of the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and suggest remedial actions.
- Assess business performance using tracking mechanisms, establish rectification measures when necessary, and furnish detailed reports for the Executive Management team and other concerned parties within the organization.
- Coordinate and oversee corporate investments.
- Analyze operations to pinpoint areas that require restructuring, downsizing, or removal.
- Collaborate with the Chairman of the Board, the President, and other executives to synchronize planning activities and determine key priorities for the planning cycle.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance and corporate accounting, with a background in leadership roles.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent. Possession of a postgraduate degree is advantageous. CPA certification is a bonus.
- Prior experience in leadership capacities within the restaurant and hospitality sectors is essential.
