    Overview
    Kimley-Horn is looking for an Data Analyst Intern in our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office. This is not a remote position.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive and review incoming data requests from various stakeholders within the organization.
    • Analyze data requests to understand the specific requirements and objectives.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to gather the necessary data and information to fulfill the requests.
    • Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accurate and reliable data is provided.
    • Create and maintain a comprehensive catalogue of data sources and their availability.
    • Develop and implement processes to streamline data request management and documentation creation.
    • Generate clear and concise documentation to accompany data outputs, including methodologies, assumptions, and limitations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data requests are prioritized and delivered in a timely manner.
    • Regularly update and maintain documentation repositories to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

    Qualifications

    • Working towards Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data sets.
    • A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision with high aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and concise information delivery.
