Description: Clair Global is looking for a skilled Touring Network Engineer to join their Clair Data Services division. As a Touring Network Engineer, you will play a key role in setting up, maintaining, documenting, and supporting temporary events and touring networks for Clair Global. This hands-on position is crucial for improving fan experiences, streamlining production workflows, and ensuring smooth communication during events like Coachella, BottleRock, and SoundStorm.

Collaborate with various production departments using different multimedia networking protocols to deliver top-notch experiences to audiences.
Create detailed and clear documentation of technical processes and deployments.
Produce after-action reports of events to identify strengths and weaknesses in network setups.
Lead teams of Engineers, Technicians, and Project Managers at event locations.
Travel occasionally both domestically and internationally to work on event sites or installations, sometimes for extended periods based on company needs. Adaptability is key.
Be ready to work long or unusual hours, often outdoors in tough conditions like extreme weather, including overnight shifts around event schedules.
Set up, configure, and manage large-scale wired and wireless networks for major events throughout the year.
Quick troubleshoot and diagnose critical network issues in high-stress situations, maintaining composure under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in fields like Electrical Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Sciences & Technology, Computer & Network Systems Administration, or a related area.
Possess one or more certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VCP-NV, Azure, AWS, Security+.
Have over 5 years of experience in various aspects of wireless technology and Cisco networking in an enterprise setting.
Understanding of fundamental network protocols and concepts including VLANs, VRFs, DHCP, DNS, and others.
At least 2 years of experience in Linux server administration, API interaction, and scripting languages like Python.
Familiarity with real-time audio/video protocols like Dante, AES67, ArtNet, sACN, NDI would be a plus.
Must be willing to travel internationally.
