    Maximus is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager, to join our dynamic team
    This strategic role will support our DHS Market, collaborating closely with the DHS Growth Leader and DHS Account Senior and Executive Leadership
    This role is pivotal in driving business growth and project delivery within our DHS market
    The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance our market position, capture new business opportunities, and contribute significantly to our overall program successes

    What You Will Do:

    • Coordinate closely with the DHS business development and operations
    • teams to help build and refine the year-over-year pipeline in Salesforce.
    • Attend customer meetings and manage the capture of critical information to drive proposal content

    Lead and oversee the development and refinement of capture strategies in collaboration with business development and operations teams, ensuring clear communication across all levels.


    • Proactively manage and drive planning and capture activities, focusing on opportunities 12 months or more prior to RFP release.
    • Strategically support short-term Requests for Information (RFIs) that align with our segment's goals, leading to larger strategic procurements.
    • Utilize competitive intelligence and data to guide business development, shaping opportunities and enhancing our competitive position.
    • Analyze competitors, identifying vulnerabilities and recommend actions to strengthen our position through teaming, key hires, and other strategies.
    • Craft and implement compelling value propositions and mitigation strategies, ensuring our bids stand out in the market.
    • Contribute to pricing strategy discussions, leveraging analytical skills to
    • support a data-driven approach.
    • Coordinate various inputs and points of contact, working closely with
    • proposal teams to deliver compliant and high-quality proposals.
    • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis in vendor and competitive
    • solution areas.
    • Engage actively in proposal development, ensuring market and competitive
    • factors are considered.
    • Present strategies and opportunities to Maximus Executives, from capture
    • to successful outcomes.
    • Collaborate on client-facing presentations with sales and technical solution
    • teams.
    • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influence
    • solution strategies.
    • Supervise data analytics and decision-making processes at the managerial
    • and analyst levels.
    • Be accountable for outcomes and manage budget and resources
    • effectively.
    • Maintain a positive win/loss ratio, supporting pursuit teams in creating
    • impactful sales themes.
    • Opportunity dependent: willingness to flex between growth/capture an operations/Information Technology (IT) Project Management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
    • 7+ years of related work experience in the following:
    • Contract delivery/project management in a technology field with DHS and/or one of its components
    • Developing/executing a go-to-market strategy
    • Proven experience in Project Delivery and Management, Sales,
    • Proposal, and Capture Management
    • Proven record of driving business growth within the DHS components
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government sponsored security clearance, if required.

    • Articulate in both written and verbal communication, effective public speaking skills.
    • Advanced analytical abilities, particularly in pricing models and market analysis.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
    • Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
    • Capable of decision-making under uncertainty in a matrixed environment.
    • Experience working with shared resources and managing client deliverables.

    Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment
    Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package
    Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards

    Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience

    Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances
    Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 116,500.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 205,000.00 *
