    Responsibilities

    Design and implement audit strategies for covering key regulatory & compliance risks, across the entity and country structuresDesign of periodic audit plan, using a risk-based methodologyResponsible for delivery of the approved audit planEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls in place to mitigate compliance and regulatory risksRecommend enhancements to the control environment, based on identified weaknesses in your insights from industry and regulatory expectationsSupport the execution of risk-based analytical data samplingSupport the monitorship program and oversee the implementation of the compliance program in accordance with the plea agreement with the DOJ from an Internal Audit perspectiveOwnership of the end-to-end delivery of audits, in line with the IA MethodologyParticipate in peer review and quality assurance reviews, to ensure other parts of IA are maintaining quality standardsRequirements

    More than 8 years' experience in internal or external audit in finance institutions, risk and insurance management, stock exchanges, or large internet-based companiesAt least a bachelor's degree, preferably in an analytical disciplineGood understanding of Internal Audit/Risk Management/Investigation FunctionsExperience of working in a compliance function (AML/CFT/Transaction Monitoring) will be a plusDetailed knowledge of the MENA financial services regulatory environment as well as knowledge of regulations relating to crypto will be a plusTeam player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and within a small team settingEnsure data and reporting needs are well understood and delivered promptlyAnalytical, proactive and flexible in dual hatting between daily production and occasional change initiativesGreat interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in the crypto industry will be a plusWorking at Binance
