    Math and Science Tutor - a very rewarding position helping students
    • Are you a graduate student majoring in Math/Science/Tech and looking for a part-time job?
    • Are you a Math/Science teacher looking for additional opportunities in education?
    • Are you working in a Math/Science/Tech field and looking for a supplemental job opportunity?
    • Are you considering a career in Education, but want to know if you are a good fit?

    Note: Tutoring will occur in person at our office in Clifton Park, NY.
    Job Details:
    • Teaching experience is preferred but not required, as we will train skilled candidates on our successful teaching methods.
    • Hours are flexible; you tell us when you are available, and we will pair you with student schedules.
    • There are no lesson plans, grading, or other work for you to do outside of the classroom. Our full-time staff handles parent interaction and curriculum, so all you do is teach, typically on a one-to-one basis.
    • Tutors will work with K-12 students on Math and/or Science. In addition, some tutors will help students prepare for the Math portion of standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and Regents.
    • We have a comprehensive paid training program.

    Requirements:
    • Academic background in the desired subject area (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and more).
    • A College Degree is preferred, but exceptionally qualified candidates will be considered.
    • Professional presentation and demeanor.
    • Desire to positively impact students' lives.

    Schedule:
    • Our school year tutoring hours are weekdays 3 pm-9 pm and Saturdays 9 am-4 pm. During the summer, hours will expand to all day.
    • This is a part-time position with growth opportunities to full-time. Our tutors' weekly hours vary depending on their availability. Providing more availability will increase your chances of being selected for the position. Some tutors work as little as 3 hours per week and others as much as 30 or more hours per week.
