- Developing a complete manufacturing machining process from condition of supply thru packaging for new product introduction and legacy products
- The ability to create G-code with both CAM and manual programming.
- Comprehensive understanding of cutting tools and correct applications for them
- Initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
- Providing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
- Incorporate Lean Manufacturing best practices and working in a culture focused on continuous improvement
- Supporting bid proposals for legacy and new opportunities
- Associates degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing/Engineering with 7+ years' experience working in manufacturing with CAM and G-Code programming
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing/Engineering with 5+ years' experience working in manufacturing with CAM and G-Code programming
- Masters' degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing/Engineering with 3+ years' experience working in manufacturing with CAM and G-Code programming
- In lieu of degree, 9+ years' experience of working with CAM and G-code programming
- In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to get DoD security clearance, confidential.
- Proficient in Siemens NX modeling, drafting and manufacturing and Vericut
- Knowledge of Siemens 840D controllers
- Excellent understanding of geometric tolerance along with blueprints and specs
