Job summary
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Performing maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own toolsQualifications
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities High Voltage / Low Voltage experience Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators Basic Diesel Engine experience Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship qualityJob description
