… High School graduate G.E.D. or equivalent Completion of an SPD certification training program from a recognized institution General ability to operate machinery including sterilizers washers and ultrasonic cleaners
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations Good communication customer service skills Basic knowledge of computer systems including Windows OS keyboard mouse operation Basic knowledge medical terminology Knowledge standard precautions safety prevention cross contamination The ability communicate effectively orally writing The ability understand speak write English in order communicate nursing technical medical staff Ability safely move heavy trays equipment lifting 50 pounds stand prolonged periods time
