Job Overview

We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven Construction Superintendent to lead our projects in the field. This role is all about being on-site, keeping work moving, and making sure every phase of construction is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

As Superintendent, you'll oversee daily jobsite operations, coordinate subcontractors and crews, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. You'll be the go-to leader on site—solving problems quickly, communicating clearly with project managers and clients, and maintaining a productive, professional work environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications
Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules and short-term look-ahead schedules
Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Conduct regular jobsite safety meetings and enforce a culture of safety
Monitor workmanship and ensure quality control standards are met
Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate execution
Identify and resolve field issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns
Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance
Track daily progress, document site activities, and maintain detailed jobsite reports
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to manage budgets, timelines, and change orders
Order and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment
Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
Lead jobsite meetings and provide regular progress updates
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar field leadership role
Proven experience managing commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects from start to finish
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety standards
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate subcontractors and field crews
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs
High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related degree or certifications preferred

Pay: $105, $165,000.00 per year
