Responsible for researching, reviewing, and analyzing real estate records to determine legal ownership

Identify issues that may affect property titles

Ensure title documents are accurate, clear, and compliant with applicable laws

Support smooth and timely real estate transactions

Examine public records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and maps to verify property ownership

Identify restrictions, easements, encumbrances, and title defects

Prepare detailed title reports and summaries for real estate closings

Work with title officers, attorneys, lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve title issues

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of title research

Communicate findings and status updates clearly with internal teams and clients

Minimum of 5 years' experience at a title insurance company

Experience in title examination, title research, or related real estate field preferred

Strong knowledge of property law, real estate transactions, and legal terminology

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Proficiency with title software systems and public record databases

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
