    Description
    The Die Cutting Operator will be responsible for all activities associated with the set-up, make-ready, operation, cleanup, and order documentation of the die-cutting machines for quality cutting of cartons. We will evaluate starting pay based on experience.

    Essential Functions:
    • Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a die cutter.
    • Set up of press and make ready of job.
    • Stages all materials for the next job on press (printed sheets, cutting die, plate and blanking tools, platforms for loading material).
    • Perform pre and make-ready duties.
    • Checking sheets while the job is running.
    • Takes die-cut loads to gluing and stripping staging areas.
    • Routine maintenance.
    • Performs other job duties as assigned.
    • Help maintain the organization of plates and cutting dies.
    • Assist in process improvement/waste reduction techniques.
    • Follow all departmental policies, safety rules, and procedures.
    • Follow all good manufacturing policies as they relate to food safety

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday. Ability to work overtime as needed.
