System Administrator with Security Clearance - Huntsville, AL, United States - PeopleTec

Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a System Administrator to support our Huntsville, AL location.

• Provide user support and system administration in a fast-paced, medical-oriented environment
• Manage user support tickets
• Administer SCCM/MECM to adjust software collections for software application patching
• Replace old hardware with new hardware as part of tech refresh
• Image laptops with latest baselines via PXE boot and SCCM/MECM
• Provide troubleshooting and support with M365 Teams
• Perform user session resets within the VMware Horizon Helpdesk Console
• Provide support for Cisco AnyConnect VPN software for telework users

Troubleshoot peripheral connectivity issues with Zero Clients and Workstations Qualifications Required Skills/Experience :

• 5+ years' experience with information systems support
• Strong technical experience with computer software and hardware troubleshooting
• Experience troubleshooting printer issues
• Moderate experience with M365 production configuration and troubleshooting
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop OS (10,11)
• Moderate experience performing Active Directory user and group administration
• Moderate experience with remote desktop support tools (Bomgar, RDP, Citrix)
• Strong experience with service ticket systems (Remedy, Service Now, etc.)
• Ability to balance multiple taskers in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies and methodologies
• Must be a U.S

Citizen


Minimum certification:
Security+

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance within 30 days of a start date

Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field Desired Experience and Certifications :

• Windows 10/11 for desktop support
• User support within a medical environment (HIPAA)
• Windows Server operating systems
• System Administration (Active Directory/Group Policy)
• Microsoft SCCM/MECM Administration/Imaging
• Powershell and Command Prompt
• Microsoft Certified System Administrator Overview People First
