    The role
    Following a retirement departure, we are looking for our new

    Head of Global Public Affairs (M/F)

    within the Communications and Public Affairs Global Leadership team This position will be based in our Headquarters in

    Lille (La Madeleine) .

    Our Team

    Being part of the Leadership Team at a Global level, you will play an essential role in contributing to the overall business strategy, with a focus on building and developing strategy in Public Affairs that allows the company to effectively advocate, protect and promote its positions while being recognized as an objective and valuable corporate citizen and a responsible partner.


    Therefore, you will work closely with all other Functions across our geographical areas as well as interact with governments, regulatory authorities, industrial public affairs leaders and industry associations.

    Your mission ?
    Your experience and talents will make the difference to:
    Develop long term strategies and short and medium term actions to ensure Roquette can continue to progress as a valuable partner for its customers in collaboration with GBUs and Regions
    Develop long term strategies and short and medium term actions to ensure a positive political and regulatory environment (HSE, sustainability, public funding for innovation ...) for Roquette global operations
    Maintain a register of key issues which can impact the performance of Roquette and that are heavily influenced by governments and regulatory authorities
    Identify and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders amongst governments and regulatory authorities
    Be the main face and voice of Roquette on key external associations (e.g. Starch Europe)
    Recognition as thought leader toward external key stakeholders for Roquette
    Build a global team of competent Public Affairs practitioners, supported by external service providers where necessary
    Working with the extended Communications team to ensure the company has a consistent message
    Ensure the consistency of positions and actions between advocacy and regulatory affairs
    Be ready to respond to critical issues as they arise
    Tight management of expenses and resources

    Your great communication skills enable you to foster a fruitful and consistent engagement within Roquette stakeholders globally on all Public Affairs topics.

    As a strategic thinker and doer, you excel in communicating clearly, concisely and persuasively, verbally and in writing.

    You have a relevant experience in Public Affairs Communications (at least 10 years), preferably in the industry sector
    You have strong capabilities to define strategies
    A proven leader exposure, with natural skills and drive to enthuse internal and external stakeholders

    Strong managerial skills:
    able to set objectives, manage performance and help employees grow, develop and move on.
    You are energetic, innovative, persuasive and you establish good relationships with different stakeholders
    And because we are an international company you are perfectly fluent in English ? (oral & written, mandatory)
