    Job Description:

  • The Technical Specialist works in a group supporting the many products in the Lubrication Business Unit.
  • The products include hand-held lubrication tools, pumps, meters, valves, lubrication systems, and fluid management systems.
  • The position will provide support to our full line of products including taking inquiries pertaining to service documentation, troubleshooting products, clarifying assembly/disassembly procedures by phone and online, and handling warranty issues. The position may also be required to document failures for further analysis and return of defective goods.
  • Support sales inquiries with product recommendations, taking inquiries pertaining to service documentation, remotely trouble shooting products, clarifying assembly/disassembly procedures by phone and online, provide guidance on warranty process, document product failures for further analysis and return of defective equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • A four year degree in business or technical field desired. AS degree in technical field with 2 yrs applicable experience.
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE - has industrial maintenance or lubrication system maintenance in their background. Client knows this is a tall order and is comfortable with a candidate that has a strong mechanical aptitude, hopefully in automotive.
  • 2yrs experience in a product oriented customer service or technical support role. Experience as a retail customer service/sales rep for NAPA, O'Reily, or Sears auto parts or tools is applicable.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a MUST. Minimum experience with automotive parts and service tools. Preferred experience is more product engineering in nature including motors, pumps, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics and specifications.
