    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    The Irrigation Production Manager possess insight, strong leadership abilities and great customer skills. This person will be the type of leader who inspires and motivates the team toward greater efficiency and division profitability. This individual will have the skills to maintain business relationships with clients and the ability to communicate on a regular basis with our key clients

    ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee field personnel for monthly walk throughs and repairs.
    • Troubleshoot all aspects of irrigation system to include electrical and mechanical
    • Order and procure materials/ equipment for upcoming jobs and provide POs to vendor
    • Coordinate activities with sub-contactors
    • Quality Control
    • Accountable for vehicle and equipment maintenance
    • Communicate employee issues
    • Record and report hourly employees' daily timecards through computer applications
    • Adhere and enforce company and departmental policies and procedures
    • Must be pro-active, able to build a solid relationship with employees, customers, and vendors
    • Proficient with Microsoft office and ability to learn other programs
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Operate efficiently under minimum supervision
    • Ability to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations (i.e., may be subject to "on-call" responsibilities)

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 10 hours or more a day):

    While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel. In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise, hazardous materials, or lifting or carrying heavy objects. The employee must be always physically coherent and aware especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.
