    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a weekend night shift position requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of recent experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital radiology department serving inpatient, observation, outpatient, and emergency department patients
    Perform imaging in the ED, fluoroscopy, OR (c-arm and O-arm), and portable x-ray exams
    Average caseload of 175 studies per day, higher on weekdays and lower on weekends
    Use EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS with specialized equipment including GE Precision 500D R&F rooms, Shimadzu RadSpeed and MD8, Konica mKDR Xpress portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm
    Work three 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
    On-call required for 2 shifts per month if needed
    No floating to other departments required
    Duties include rotating through all imaging areas including ED, OR, ICU, and providing portable exams
    Radiology technologists support inpatient, observation, outpatient, and emergency patients
    Work within a supportive team structure with guest services and transport assisting with inpatient and observation patients
    Initial orientation includes one day of administrative onboarding and up to one week of departmental orientation as needed
    75% holiday coverage is required
    Scrub color required is black
    Free parking is available in surface lots and parking decks
    First-time travelers are accepted for this position

    Requirements
    Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
    Active state license required if applicable
    Current BLS certification
    Minimum of 2 years radiology experience, with at least 12 months recent experience in the specialty
    Experience in fluoro, OR, ICU, portable x-ray, and emergency department imaging required
    Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
    At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
    Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
    Must not be a local candidate within a 50-mile radius
    Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation from any prior permanent position with the health system
