- Manage and organize the Tool Crib to ensure CNC tooling is available and maintained in proper working condition
- Inspect cutting tools for wear or damage; repair, recondition, or replace tools as needed
- Prepare tools for production using shrink-fit tooling systems and tool presetters
- Receive, issue, and track tools, equipment, and materials using manual or computerized systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine inventory counts
- Identify lost or misplaced tools and take corrective action
- Requisition replacement tooling and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Measure and inspect tools using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers)
- Perform basic maintenance, servicing, and lubrication of tools and equipment
- Deliver tools and equipment to production areas as needed
- Label and identify tools using tags, stamps, or marking equipment
- Review drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to support tooling preparation
- Estimate tooling repair or replacement needs and communicate findings to supervisors
- Support daily production by ensuring tooling readiness and minimizing downtime
- Follow all Edelbrock quality standards, work instructions, OSHA regulations, and safety policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience with CNC tooling (end mills, taps, insert cutters, etc.)
- Experience inspecting and maintaining cutting tools in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with shrink-fit tooling systems and tool presetters (Haimer, Zoller, or comparable equipment)
- Prior experience working in a Tool Crib or CNC manufacturing support role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift from floor level
