    Our expansion, spanning 165,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art patient tower to our Round Rock hospital, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population.

    Among its highlights, the tower will house an innovative 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, alongside expanded capacities for crucial departments such as med/surg and labor and delivery.

    Additional operating rooms, cath labs, and procedural areas.

    At Baylor Scott & White Health, your well-being is our top priority. As an Interventional Radiology RN, you will use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Your tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. You will help patients navigate their healthcare safely. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Making a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital.
    The successful candidate will manage learning for patients and families and help nursing staff growth. Knowledge sharing in the health care team and community is also promoted.
    The perfect candidate partners effectively with team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan.
    The candidate must recognize limited resources and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
    Participation in continued education and community service is valued.
    A basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing.
    You must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to engage with different groups effectively.
    Critical thinking and problem-solving for providing optimal patient care.
    The ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors.
    Basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.

    Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
    The applicant's major field of study should be Nursing.
    Having less than a year of professional experience in the nursing field would be beneficial.
