    Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for leading Patient Access staff involved in the billing and follow-up of clinic patients. The role provides leadership to the patient access team, including completion of patient medical insurance eligibility, processing benefits, and referral authorizations for patients.

    Required Skills:

    2 years experience in Patient Access/Accounts setting - Required.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Coordinates the daily activities of designated area, including scheduling, staffing and coordinating workflow using independent judgment and following departmental procedures to ensure overall operations are maintained according to standard

    Participates in the performance improvement process by assisting management in the monitoring of staff performance Completes staff training, maintaining productivity standards and ensuring that established goals and objectives are met or exceeded on a consistent basis

    Develop and manage successful communications and relationships with providers, staff and administrative teams to create awareness of patient experience initiatives

    Collaborate with leadership to meet customer/patient service outcomes for patient experience goals

    Maintains overall patient experience and safety, following all policies and protocols, to allow for optimal experience of care
