    Primary Responsibility
    The Treatment Operations Manager will have global responsibilities supporting and coordinating a seamless patient cell journey starting with patient enrollment, apheresis collection, through infusion of final product. The journey is comprised of timely apheresis scheduling, manufacturing, release, and infusion of cell therapy products across all clinical trials and emerging commercial markets.

    As a collaborative and nimble member of the Treatment Operations team, this person will expertly navigate and maintain cross-functional partnerships with internal departments and leaders; including but not limited to Clinical, Commercial, Manufacturing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, this person will orchestrate the time critical events and communicate information to relevant stakeholders to ensure continuity of the patient journey.

As we scale up in preparation for commercial launch the team will expand to include direct reports to support and mirror your efforts as our cutting-edge therapies broaden their reach globally.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Patient scheduling responsibilities across all company assets with cross-functional collaboration to support company goals while positively impacting the lives of patients.
    • Develop and implement SOP's and training materials for Treatment Operations team in preparation for commercial launch. Perform training sessions and onboarding for specialists and managers as the team expands.
    • Effectively partner with Commercial to ensure a seamless patient journey is deliverable at Day 1 of launch and beyond.
    • Lead coordination and performance of site onboarding activities specific to the various Treatment Operations roles and end-users at clinical sites both in person and virtually as indicated by the Authorized Treatment Center or clinical site.
    • Monitor clinical site performance in relation to capacity after site launch, identifying opportunities for optimization.
    • Generate KPI's and best in class metrics; report regularly on performance against targets. Lead process improvement efforts; providing impact assessments for change controls within Treatment Operations team.
    • Participate in auditing/monitoring activities as required with Authorized Treatment Centers.
    • Other projects and tasks as assigned by line manager.
    Qualifications & Experience
    Required
    • Bachelor's degree in life sciences/business ops or 10+ years in the medical, clinical trials, or pharmaceutical industry.
    • 5+ years cumulative experience in related roles in the biotechnology, clinical research, or pharmaceutical industry.
    • Process oriented with strong analytical skills for risk identification.
    • Ability to function independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
    • Ability to travel.
    Desirable
    • Creating, monitoring, and reporting KPI's to cross functional teams.
    • Experience in cell and gene therapy.
    • Experience with early stage and late stage/commercial pharmaceutical/biotech companies.
    • Account management, Patient Operations or Treatment operations experience.

    • Travel is estimated to be 25% on average. Ability to travel internationally (valid passport);
