    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Financial Analyst will prepare Companys business plans, forecasts and related variance analysis along with other financial analysis studies and reports.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Plays key role in the preparation of analytical reports and tools including P&L and cost center performance interfacing with business units, functional leaders, and other stakeholders.
    • Participates in the company's budgeting/forecasting process to include identifying cost savings efforts, tracking monthly performance, and analyzing, summarizing, and understanding variances to budget/forecast/prior year.
    • Regularly communicates with department managers regarding expectations for preparation and review of budgets, forecasts and actual results relative to expectations.
    • Prepares accurate reporting of variances and works with department managers to develop accurate internal reporting.
    • Ensures that consistent practices are used to maintain integrity of financial data and related systems: researches and reconciles data analysis for accuracy.
    • Performs ad hoc core financial analysis and reporting responsibilities to support internal initiatives and projects focusing on driving efficiency and transparency.
    • Reviews operating results and prepare variance and trend analysis monthly.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:

    • Bachelors degree with a preference for a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent work experience.
    • 1-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst preferred.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
    • General understanding of accounting principles.
    • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline driven environment
