6 month contract to hire (U.S. Citizen/GC ONLY)

Summary
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and responsible for the development and ongoing support of JDE Enterprise One and related core business applications. Must possess the ability to document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Requires a degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. JDE Enterprise One development / programming experience is required.
Additionally, this person will work closely with the business and cross functional teams to determine core objectives and align on business requirements. This includes, but is not limited to working closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to implement and support E-Commerce, Finance & Accounting on key reporting and analytics. This involves understanding how success will be measured, reviewing the existing technical platform, documenting the gaps and building an estimate and plan to deliver.
Responsibilities
Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct system problems in an expeditious manner
Assist in day-to-day operational support of the system including maintenance tasks and user support
Work with the end user population to understand their requirements and provide solutions to meet their expectations
Ability to read, debug and modify existing report and program code to meet requirements
Perform initial/internal developer unit testing followed by a comprehensive system test prior to releasing the changes to the testing teams
Work from project plans and support tickets and be able to complete projects with the established timelines, scope and budget
Possess the ability to gather, define and document business requirements
Communicate clearly and effectively to direct peers and end user community with meetings, written summaries and status updates
Work in a collaborative manner with team members to provide solutions, share ideas and contribute to the open environment
Support the JD Edwards Enterprise One software both functionally and technically in the following application areas:
Distribution – Sales and Procurement, Manufacturing, Work Orders, BI Publisher Development – Templates and Report Definitions, Advanced Pricing, DRP, Orchestration, Tidal Job Scheduler, TMS, Financials, E-Commerce, Security Concepts
Manage tickets in a ticketing system and keep up to date with current progresses
Manage change control tickets and proper approvals
Understand the concepts of project management
Adhere to the company's policies and procedures
Skills and experience
Bachelors Degree
8+ years of progressive IT/ Functional Business Analyst experience
3+ years Distribution industry experience
5+ years working in a JDE Enterprise One environment
6+ years Business Analyst or Process Improvement experience;
Business and functional requirements development and analysis;
Development and program coding, debugging programs and BSFN's, report writing;
Applying process improvement methodologies;
Process mapping/modeling;
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking;
Time management, prioritization and organization with the ability to prioritize activities and multiple tasks at once;
Excellent communication (written & oral) and facilitation;
Networking and cultivating productive working relationships;
Working with all levels within an organization including senior executives, managers, front lines, corporate and technical staff
Demonstrates client relationship skills with a strong commitment to satisfying customers
