    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Clinical Trauma Specialist to join our team at Family Service League Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals, children, and families affected by trauma.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive suicide prevention and postvention services to various audiences, including youth, parents, and professionals.
    • Conduct outreach with schools and community organizations to schedule presentations and workshops.
    • Provide in-home and community-based sessions with families who have experienced trauma as requested by clients.
    • Lead debriefings with groups impacted by critical incidents.
    • Offer crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
    • Assess suicide risk for all impacted clients.

    About the Position:

    This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $63,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As a Clinical Trauma Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional support to Long Island's most vulnerable citizens.

    Requirements:

    • Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology required.
    • Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychology License required.
    • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with people impacted by trauma required.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
    • Valid and clean NYS Drivers License required.
