    Looking for a Machine Design Engineer for a reputable and growing company in the Holland, MI area. The main focus of this role will be to create new and improve existing machinery designs.

    Position Overview:
    • The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for conceiving and designing custom automation equipment using SolidWorks software.

    Responsibilities of the Machine Design Engineer:
    • Create, design, and layout special machines utilizing engineering principles, knowledge, and related experience.
    • Conceptualize machine designs and select materials.
    • Create models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks software.
    • Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, pulleys, sheet metal, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping.
    • Provide machine assembly and troubleshooting support.

    Desired requirements of the Machine Design Engineer:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but may not be required with the right experience.
    • Prior experience as a Machine Designer, preferably in material handling, assembly, or automation.
    • SolidWorks software experience, but Inventor, CREO, Pro-E, AutoCAD, or any 3D software experience will be considered.
    • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and servos is a plus.
    • Technical ability, team-oriented, and attention to detail.
    • Project Engineering experience is a plus.
    • Structural experience is a plus.
    • Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card.

    Benefits:
