    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a marketing and distribution company for automotive parts and are the leading supplier of CV Axles to the Automotive Aftermarket in North America. We also offer a broad coverage of Window Regulators, Drive Shafts, and ATV Axles. We sell to Warehouse Distributors and mass retailers throughout North America and are a rapidly growing company poised for continued growth.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The New Business Development Manager will establish industry networks, conduct market research and identify new business opportunities. This position will work with various departments. Must be resourceful, organized, and motivated, and look for new and creative ways to research new product lines. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Gather business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
    2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify sales trends and consumer behaviors for new business opportunities.
    3. Perform competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
    4. Develop client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
    5. Act as a liaison between and coordinate interdepartmental teams to complete assigned new product research and launch to specifications on-time, with accuracy and efficiency.
    6. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.
    7. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Will not have any direct reports.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Comprehensive business knowledge
    • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships
    • Strong organization and project management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the product being developed
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
    • Familiarity with CRM software
    • Experience working in the automotive industry
    • Passionate about the automotive aftermarket industry
    • Friendly and personable demeanor

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field
    • 3+ years' relevant work experience in category management or similar field
    • Experience in retailer or major WD sales side of running a business
    • Up to date with the latest category management principles
    • Must enjoy and appreciate working in a multi-cultural environment.

    WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    • Regular sitting, walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
    • Must be willing to travel more than 50% of the time.
