    Senior Environmental Project Manager - Signal Hill, CA

    Trihydro, one of the country's top environmental and engineering consulting firms, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Petroleum and Petrochemical Services team in Signal Hill, CA.     Responsibilities
    In this project management role, you will work in the office and in the field (up to 25% of the time) performing and/or overseeing project work. Under the direct supervision of Team Leaders, the successful candidate will:

    • Develop and guide site remediation strategies bringing petroleum sites to closure.
    • Manage large-scale groundwater monitoring and remediation programs at industrial facilities.
    • Interact with various state agencies to develop favorable risk-based remediation goals.
    • Scope, cost, plan, schedule, execute, and report for assigned projects.
    • Manage subcontractors, prepare purchase orders, and approve vendor invoices.
    • Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks on budget and within the schedule.
    • Develop work plans and health & safety plans.
    • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients to execute decommissioning projects, biological restoration, site investigation, and/or remediation projects.
    • Oversee and perform field investigations that include surface reconnaissance, surface mapping, surface water measurements, multi-media sampling (air, water, soil), and decommissioning planning.
    • Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
    • Evaluate remedial alternatives for soil, groundwater, sediment, and indoor air impacts.
    • Oversee and perform remedial activities for impacted soil (excavation, in-situ treatment, etc.), groundwater (extraction, in-situ treatment, etc.), and vapor (indoor air mitigation system, engineering controls, etc.).
    • Manage site/biological restoration and compliance with agency permits.
    • Prepare site restoration, investigation summary, remedy implementation, performance monitoring, permit compliance, and site closure reports.
    Position Qualifications:
    Our team is looking for someone who has:
    • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • An interest in mentoring junior staff.
    • Initiative to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.
    • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
    • Working knowledge of health and safety best practices and a commitment to safe operations.
    • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and conversant with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.
    • Able to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to different technical challenges.
    • A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or a related field (professional certification is a plus).
    • 5 to 15 plus years of relevant project/task management experience.
    • A clean driving record.

    The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
    Summary pay range: $80,000 - $120,000
